List of Things
“Get yo self a d10. Treat yo self.” – Issue 3
- A Parks and Recreation reference that is used when the DM manages to roll two or more 1s enabling the player to “treat themselves” to a free d10 stunt for the expenditure of a plot point. The only thing that really balances out the snowballing of doom effect that Ryan’s dice have….
Hoverskis – Issue 2
- While Ryan would have you believe that party XP expenditure should be focused on useful things for the base like an infirmary or a communication center, Sean and Nicole know that party XP should have one purpose: Muthafucking HOVERSKIIS!
“Stick a pin in it” – Issue 9
- Issue 9 began with the party invasion of the secret A.I.M. base under Northside Prep. Unfortunately, many of the characters had not seen one another in a long time yet each hero had experienced many things which had to be shared with the group. Because the group had to focus on the current battle many pressing matters, such as Brimstone’s newfound Darkforce™ breath attack and Gwen’s newfound crush on a s̶u̶p̶e̶r̶ ̶v̶i̶l̶l̶i̶a̶n̶ reformed scientist three times her age had to “have a pin stuck in them” until they could be discussed after the heroic bout with M.O.D.O.K.
“Inquisitive hoot?” – Issue 9
- Just because DM has turned into an owl to spy on Al’s super date with Tabitha doesn’t mean he can’t express himself as fully as his annoying, wise-cracking, human form would. Conclusive hoot!
“I request the highest of fives.” – Issue 11
